If you find yourself with a big house and lots of empty rooms, you can always turn those extra rooms into something else other than empty rooms. Perhaps a home entertainment recreational room that can be shown off to potential home buyers as a place to relax. Set it up with a big television, a surround sound system and reclining chairs. Or turn one of them into a nursery room. Sure, not all home buyers have kids or need a nursery room but it can be designed to attract those that do. Head on down to your local nursery supply shop and buy some supplies such as a crib and paint the walls a baby neutral color. These are just a couple of suggestions.

There are plenty of other things you can do around the home to spruce it up a bit in order to attract buyers and make more money. You can install new curtains and drapes around the home. Replace any blinds that look old. Put in new bathroom furniture vanities or steam clean the carpets. There are plenty of minor things you can do that can improve the look of your home.
